Reaching this panorama viewpoint in Ninh Binh isn’t for the faint of heart, of the weak of knees – getting up there is only possible by a steep climb of 500 steps. And it’s busy – very, very busy (well, maybe not right now.)
Although I am not a big fan of tourist places, I have to admit, I understand this viewpoint’s attraction. Just look at that view – it’s breathtaking!
In a touristy place like Vietnam, Ninh Binh still stands out as one of the must-visit places. It’s a spectacular region, and this view of the Hang Mau Peak was worth the trip, the steep stairs, and maneuvering around all those people – you almost have to be an acrobat to get this shot.
In the end, I had to climb quite a ways to be able to take a picture without any people on it, and then there was the long wait for sunset to really pop as it does in the picture. Poor Martijn, he had to wait quite some time for me here.
